Once he visited Hafsa and remained with her longer than the period he used to stay; so I enquired about it. It was said to me; A woman from her tribe gave her a leather skin containing honey as a present; and she gave some of it to Allah Messenger ﷺ to drink. I said; By Allah; we will play a trick on him. So I mentioned the story to Sauda the wife of the Prophet and said to her; When he enters upon you; he will come near to you whereupon you should say to him; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Have you eaten Maghafir? He will say; No. Then you say to him; What is this bad smell? And it would be very hard on Allah Messenger ﷺ that a bad smell should be found on his body. He will say; Hafsa has given me a drink of honey. Then you should say to him; Its bees must have sucked from the AlUrfut a foul smelling flower. I too; will tell him the same. And you; O Saifya; say the same. So when the Prophet ﷺ entered upon Sauda the following happened. Sauda said; By Him except Whom none has the right to be worshipped; I was about to say to him what you had told me to say while he was still at the gate because of fear from you. But when Allah Apostle came near to me; I said to him; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Have you eaten Maghafir? He replied; No. I said; What about this smell? He said; Hafsa has given me a drink of honey. Do I still have ignorance even now in my old age? He said; Yes; they slaves or servants are your brothers; and Allah has put them under your command. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3136Narrated Aisha: Allah Messenger ﷺ was fond of honey and sweet edible things and it was his habit that after finishing the Asr prayer he would visit his wives and stay with one of them at that time. Once he went to Hafsa; the daughter of Umar and stayed with her more than usual. I got jealous and asked the reason for that. I was told that a lady of her folk had given her a skin filled with honey as a present; and that she made a syrup from it and gave it to the Prophet ﷺ to drink and that was the reason for the delay. I said; By Allah we will play a trick on him to prevent him from doing so. So I said to Sada bint Zama The Prophet ﷺ will approach you; and when he comes near you; say: Have you taken Maghafir a bad-smelling gum ? He will say; No. Then say to him: Then what is this bad smell which i smell from you? He will say to you; Hafsa made me drink honey syrup. Then say: Perhaps the bees of that honey had sucked the juice of the tree of AlUrfut. I shall also say the same. O you; Safiya; say the same. Later Sada said; By Allah; as soon as he the Prophet ﷺ stood at the door; I was about to say to him what you had ordered me to say because I was afraid of you. So when the Prophet ﷺ came near Sada; she said to him; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Have you taken Maghafir? He said; No. She said. Then what is this bad smell which I detect on you? He said; Hafsa made me drink honey syrup. She said; Perhaps its bees had sucked the juice of AlUrfut tree. When he came to me; I also said the same; and when he went to Safiya; she also said the same. And when the Prophet ﷺ again went to Hafsa; she said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Your father i.e. Abu Mousa said; No; by Allah; we took part in Jihad after Allah Messenger ﷺ ; prayed and did plenty of good deeds; and many people have embraced Islam at our hands; and no doubt; we expect rewards from Allah for these good deeds. On that my father i.e. Umar said; As for myself; By Him in Whose Hand Umar soul is; I wish that the deeds done by us at the time of the Prophet ﷺ remain rewardable while whatsoever we did after the death of the Prophet ﷺ be enough to save us from Punishment in that the good deeds compensate for the bad ones. He said; I have heard him saying; A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown in the Hell Fire; so that his intestines will come out; and he will go around like a donkey goes around a millstone. The people of Hell Fire will gather around him and say: O so-and-so! What is wrong with you? Didnt you use to order us to do good deeds and forbid us to do bad deeds? Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names You still have some characteristics of ignorance. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. We are led in the Prayer prayer by a leader of AlFitan trials and afflictions etc. and we are afraid of being sinful in following him. Uthman said. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7071Narrated Aisha: When there was said about me what was said which I myself was unaware of; Allah Messenger ﷺ got up and addressed the people. He recited Tashah-hud; and after glorifying and praising Allah as He deserved; he said; To proceed: O people Give me your opinion regarding those people who made a forged story against my wife. By Allah; I do not know anything bad about her. By Allah; they accused her of being with a man about whom I have never known anything bad; and he never entered my house unless I was present there; and whenever I went on a journey; he went with me. Saad Bin Muadh got up and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ Allow me to chop their heads off. Then a man from the AlKhazraj Saad Bin Ubada to whom the mother of the poet Hassan Bin Thabit was a relative; got up and said to Saad Bin Muadh ; You have told a lie! By Allah; if those persons were from the Aus Tribe; you would not like to chop their heads off. It was probable that some evil would take place between the Aus and the Khazraj in the Masjid; and I was unaware of all that. In the evening of that day; I went out for some of my needs i.e. to relieve myself ; and Um Mistah was accompanying me. On our return; Um Mistah stumbled and said; Let Mistah. be ruined I said to her; O mother Why do you abuse your Son On that Um Mistah became silent for a while; and stumbling again; she said; Let Mistah be ruined I said to her; Why do you abuse your son? She stumbled for the third time and said; Let Mistah be ruined whereupon I rebuked her for that. She said; By Allah; I do not abuse him except because of you. I asked her; Concerning what of my affairs? So she disclosed the whole story to me. I said; Has this really happened? She replied; Yes; by Allah. I returned to my house; astonished and distressed that I did not know for what purpose I had gone out. Then I became sick fever and said to Allah Messenger ﷺ Send me to my father house. So he sent a slave with me; and when I entered the house; I found Um Rum-an my mother downstairs while my father Abu Bakr was reciting something upstairs. My mother asked; What has brought you; O my daughter? I informed her and mentioned to her the whole story; but she did not feel it as I did. She said; O my daughter! Take it easy; for there is never a charming lady loved by her husband who has other wives but that they feel jealous of her and speak badly of her. But she did not feel the news as I did. I asked her ; Does my father know about it? She said; yes I asked; Does Allah Messenger ﷺ know about it too? She said; Yes; Allah Messenger ﷺ does too. So the tears filled my eyes and I wept. Abu Bakr; who was reading upstairs heard my voice and came down and asked my mother; What is the matter with her? She said; She has heard what has been said about her as regards the story of Allfk. On that Abu Bakr wept and said; I beseech you by Allah; O my daughter; to go back to your home. I went back to my home and Allah Messenger ﷺ had come to my house and asked my maid-servant about me my character. The maid-servant said; By Allah; I do not know of any defect in her character except that she sleeps and let the sheep enter her house and eat her dough. On that; some of the Prophet companions spoke harshly to her and said; Tell the truth to Allah Messenger ﷺ. Finally they told her of the affair of the slander. She said; Subhan Allah! By Allah; I know nothing against her except what goldsmith knows about a piece of pure gold. Then this news reached the man who was accused; and he said; Subhan Allah! By Allah; I have never uncovered the private parts of any woman. Later that man was martyred in Allah Cause. Next morning my parents came to pay me a visit and they stayed with me till Allah Messenger ﷺ came to me after he had offered the Asr prayer. He came to me while my parents were sitting around me on my right and my left. He praised and glorified Allah and said; Now then O Aisha! If you have committed a bad deed or you have wronged yourself ; then repent to Allah as Allah accepts the repentance from his slaves. An AlAnsari woman had come and was sitting near the gate. I said to the Prophet. Isnt it improper that you speak in such a way in the presence of this lady? Allah Apostle then gave a piece of advice and I turned to my father and requested him to answer him on my behalf. My father said; What should I say? Then I turned to my mother and asked her to answer him. She said; What should I say? When my parents did not give a reply to the Prophet; I said; I testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah; and that Muhammad is His Apostle! And after praising and glorifying Allah as He deserves; I said; Now then; by Allah; if I were to tell you that I have not done this evil action and Allah is a witness that I am telling the truth; that would not be of any use to me on your part because you people have spoken about it and your hearts have absorbed it; and if I were to tell you that I have done this sin and Allah knows that I have not done it; then you will say; She has confessed herself guilty. By Allah; I do not see a suitable example for me and you but the example of I tried to remember Jacob name but couldnt Joseph father when he said; So for me Patience is most fitting against that which you assert. It is Allah alone whose help can be sought. At that very hour the Divine Inspiration came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and we remained silent. Then the Inspiration was over and I noticed the signs of happiness on his face while he was removing the sweat from his forehead and saying; Have the good tidings O Aisha! Allah has revealed your innocence. At that time I was extremely angry. My parents said to me. Get up and go to him. I said; By Allah; I will not do it and will not thank him nor thank either of you; but I will thank Allah Who has revealed my innocence. You have heard this story but neither did not deny it nor change it to defend me ; Aisha used to say: But as regards Zainab bint Jahsh; the Prophet wife ; Allah protected her because of her piety; so she did not say anything except good about me ; but her sister; Hamna; was ruined among those who were ruined. Those who used to speak evil about me were Mistah; Hassan Bin Thabit; and the hypocrite; Abdullah Bin Ubai; who used to spread that news and tempt others to speak of it; and it was he and Hamna who had the greater share therein. Abu Bakr took an oath that he would never do any favor to Mistah at all. Then Allah revealed the Divine Verse: Let not those among you who are good and wealthy i.e. Abu Bakr swear not to give any sort of help to their kinsmen; and those in need; i.e. Mistah...Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving; Most Merciful. 24.22 On that; Abu Bakr said; Yes; by Allah; O our Lord! We wish that You should forgive us. So Abu Bakr again started giving to Mistah the expenditure which he used to give him before. The Chapter on Parents Mothers in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-17766It has been narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa Bin AlYaman who said: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the good times; but I used to ask him about bad times fearing lest they overtake me. I said: Messenger of Allah; we were in the midst of ignorance and evil; and then God brought us this good time through Islam. Is there any bad time after this good one? He said: Yes. I asked: Will there be a good time again after that bad time? He said: Yes; but therein will be a hidden evil. I asked: What will be the evil hidden therein? He said: That time will witness the rise of the people who will adopt ways other than mine and seek guidance other than mine. You will know good points as well as bad points. I asked: Will there be a bad time after this good one? He said: Yes. A time will come when there will be people standing and inviting at the gates of Hell. Whoso responds to their call they will throw them into the fire. I said: Messenger of Allah; describe them for us. He said: All right. They will be a people having the same complexion as ours and speaking our language. I said: Messenger of Allah; what do you suggest if I happen to live in that time? He said: You should stick to the main body of the Muslims and their leader. I said: If they have no such thing as the main body and have no leader? I said: Will there be a bad time after good time? He said: Yes. I said: How? Whereupon he said: There will be leaders who will not be led by my guidance and who will not adopt my ways? There will be among them men who will have the hearts of devils in the bodies of human beings. I said: What should I do. Messenger of Allah; if I happen to live in that time? SahihMuslim-017-001-17782It has been narrated on the authority of Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: In the near future there will be Amirs and you will like their good deeds and dislike their bad deeds. One who sees through their bad deeds and tries to prevent their repetition by his band or through his speech ; is absolved from blame; but one who hates their bad deeds in the heart of his heart; being unable to prevent their recurrence by his hand or his tongue ; is also fafe so far as God wrath is concerned. But one who approves of their bad deeds and imitates them is spiritually ruined. People asked the Holy Prophet : Shouldnt we fight against them? He replied: No; as long as they say their prayers. The Chapter on Angeles And Good Deeds And Fasting in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 16 in Sahih Muslim

One who hates their bad deeds is absolved from blame. One who disapproves of their bad deeds is also safe so far as Divine wrath is concerned. But one who approves of their bad deeds and imitates them is doomed. People asked: Messenger of Allah; shouldnt we fight against them? He replied: No; as long as they say their prayer. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10290Abu Saeed AlKhudri said: One day; the Messenger of Allah s.a.w led us in Prayer AlAsr while it was still daytime. Then he stood to give us a Khutbah. He did not leave anything that would happen until the Hour of Judgement except that he informed us about it. Whoever remembered it remembered it; and whoever forgot it forgot it. Among what he said was: Indeed the world is green and sweet; and indeed Allah has left you to remain to see how you behave. So beware of the world; and beware of the women. And among what he said was: The awe status of people should not prevent a man from saying the truth when he knows it.He one of the narrators said: Abu Saeed wept; then he said: By Allah! We have seen things and we feared. And among what he said in it; was : Indeed; for every treacherous person there shall be a banner erected on The Day Of Resurrection in proportion to his treachery. And there is no treachery greater than the treachery of a leader to the masses whose banner shall be positioned at his buttocks. And among what we remember from that day is: Behold! Indeed the children of Adam were created in various classes. Among them is he who was born a believer; lives as a believer; and dies a believer. Among them; is he who was born a disbeliever; lives as a disbeliever; and dies a disbeliever. Among them; is he who was born a believer; lives as a believer; and dies a disbeliever. Among them; is he who was born a disbeliever; lives as a disbeliever; and dies a believer. Behold! Among them is the slow to get angry; the quick to calm. Among them is the quick anger and the quick to calm; so this is with that. Behold! Among them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm; and indeed the best of them is the slow to get angry and the quick to calm; and the worst of them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm. Behold! Among them is he who pays back well and collects well. Among them is he who is bad with paying back and good when collecting. Among them is he who pays back well and is bad with collecting; so this is with that. Behold! Among them is he who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. Indeed the best of them is the one who is good in paying back and good in collecting. And the worst of them is the one who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. Behold! Anger is an ember in the heart of the son of Adam; as you see it in the redness of his eyes and the bulge of his jugular veins. So whoever senses something from that; then let him cling to the ground. He said: So we began turning towards the sun to see if anything of it remained meaning whether it has set or not. So the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: Behold! The world; in relation to what has passed of it; shall not remain except as what remains of this day of yours; in relation to what has passed of it.The Chapter on Good Manners And Rememberance in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What The Prophet saw Informed His Companions Would Occur Until The Day Of Resurrection in Sunan AlTermithi

SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9864Narrated Abu Malik: from AlBara regarding : And do not aim at that which is bad to spend from it 2:267 - he said: It was revealed about us; the people of the Ansar who were date-palm owners. A man would bring the amount of dates that he would from his date-palms; either a lot or a little. A man would bring a cluster or two and hang it in the Masjid. The people of AlSuffah did not have food; so one of them would go up to the cluster and hit it with his stick; and unripe and ripe dates would fall; and he would eat. Some people did not hope for good; so a man would bring a cluster with pitless and hard dates; and a cluster with damaged dates; and hang it. So Allah; Blessed and Most High; revealed: O you who believe! Spend of the good things which you have earned; and of that which We have produced from the earth for you; and do not aim at that which is bad to spend from it 2:267. They said: If one of you were given similar to what he gave; he would take it except bashfully with your eyes closed. So after that; one of us would bring the best that we had.The Chapter on Food And Trees in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi
