SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10024Narrated Zirr Bin Hubaish: I said to Hudhaifah Bin AlYaman: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Prayer in Bait AlMaqdis? He said: No. I said: But he did. He said: You say that; O bald one! Based upon what do you say that? I said: Based upon the Quran; the Judge between you and I is the Quran. So Hudhaifah said: Whoever argues using the Quran; then he has indeed succeeded. One of the narrators Sufyan said: He means: He has indeed proven - and perhaps he Sufyan said: He triumphed. He Zirr said: Glorified is He Who took His slave for a journey by night from AlMasjid AlHaram to AlMasjid AlAqsa 17:1. He Hudhaifah said: Do you see this proves that he ﷺ performed Prayer in it? I said: No. He said: If he had performed Prayer in it; then it would have been required upon you that you perform Prayer in it; just as it is required that you perform Prayer in AlMasjid AlHaram. Hudhaifah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a beast with a long back - stretching out like this - one stride of it; is as far as his vision. So; the two of them remained upon the back of AlBuraq until they saw Paradise and the Fire; and all of what has been prepared for the Hereafter; then they returned back to where they began. He said: They say that he was fettered; but for what? Because he might flee? The Knower of the unseen and the witness subdued him.The Chapter on Journeys And Travel And Direction Toward Alqiblah in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-24867Jabir Bin Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us the supplication for isthikharah seeking what us beneficial from Allah as he would teach us a surah chapter from the Quran. He would tell us: When one of you intends to do a work; he should offer two supererogatory rakahs of prayer; and then say at the end of the prayer : O Allah; I seek Your choice on the better of the two matters based upon Your knowledge; and I seek Your decree based upon Your power; and I ask You for Your great bounties. For Indeed; You are the One Who Decrees; and I do not decree; and You know; and I do not know; and You are the Knower of the Unseen. O Allah; if you know this; and You are the Knower of the Unseen. O Allah; if you know this - here he should name exactly what he wishes - is better for me with regard to my religion; and my life; and my afterlife; and the end result of my affairs; then decree it to me; and make it easy for me; and bless me on it. O Allah; and if You know this to be evil for me - and he says just as he said the first time - then avert it for me; and avert me from it. And decree for me good wherever it might be; the make me content with it. A version goes: If the work is good immediately or subsequently Ibn Maslamah and Ibn Isa reported from Muhammad Bin AlMunkadir on the authority of Jabir. The Chapter on Knowledge And Mujahid in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Regarding Istikharah in Sunan Abu Dawoud

In Muwata Malik

Hadith PageArabic TextEnglish TranslationBook and Chapter
MuwataMalik-017-001-35088Malik said; Another example of that is that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; forbade the sale called muzabana and granted an indulgence in the ariya for computing the equivalent in dates. It was distinguished between them that the muzabana-sale was based on shrewdness and trade; and the ariya sale was based on a favour rendered; and there was no shrewdness in it. Malik said; A man must not buy food for a fourth; a third; or a fraction of a dirham on the basis that he be given that food on credit. There is no harm in a man buying food for a fraction of a dirham on credit and then he gives a dirham and takes goods with what remains of his dirham because he gave the fraction he owed as silver; and took goods to make up the rest of his dirham. There is no harm in that transaction. Malik said; There is no harm in a man placing a dirham with another man and then taking from him known goods for a fourth; third; or a known fraction. If there was not a known price on the goods and the man said; I will take them from you for the price of each day; this is not halal because there is uncertainty. It might be less one time; and more another time; and they would not part with a known sale. Malik said; If someone sells some food without measuring precisely and does not exclude any of it from the sale and then it occurs to him to buy some of it; it is not good for him to buy any of it except what it would be permitted for him to exclude from it. That is a third or less. If it is more than a third; it becomes muzabana and is disapproved. He must only purchase from what he would be permitted to exclude; and he is only permitted to exclude a third or less than that. This is the way of doing things in which there is no dispute with us.The Chapter on Financial Transaction And Food in HodHood Indexing, The Book of The Oath of Qasama in Muwata Malik
