SahihMuslim-017-001-20816		Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father that when Allah Apostle ﷺ had been free from the Battle of Hunain; he sent Abu Amir as the head of the army of Autas. He had an encounter with Duraid Bin as_Simma. Duraid was killed and Allah gave defeat to his friends. Abu Mousa said: He the Holy Prophet sent me along with Abu Amir and Abu Amir received a wound in his knee from the arrow; shot by a person of Bani Jusham. It stuck in his knee. I went to him and said: Uncle; who shot an arrow upon you? Abu Amir pointed out to Abu Mousa and said: Verily that one who shot an arrow upon me in fact killed me. Abu Mousa said: I followed him with the determination to kill him and overtook him and when he saw me he turned upon his heels. I followed him and I said to him: Dont you feel ashamed that you run ; arent you an Arab? Why dont you stop? He stopped and I had an encounter with him and we exchanged the strokes of swords. I struck him with the sword and killed him. Then I came back to Abu Amir and said: Verily Allah has killed the one who killed you. And he said: Now draw out this arrow. I drew out the arrow and there came out from that wound water. Abu Amir said: My nephew; go to Allah Messenger ﷺ and convey my greetings to him and tell him that Abu Amir begs you to ask forgiveness for him. And Abu Amir appointed me as the chief of the people and he died after a short time. When I came to Allah Apostle ﷺ I visited him and he had been lying on the cot woven by strings and there was no bed over it and so there had been marks of the strings on the back of Allah Messenger ﷺ and on his sides. I narrated to him what had happened to us and narrated to him about Abu Amir and said to him that he had made a request to the effect that forgiveness should be sought for him from Allah. Thereupon Allah Messenger may peace be. upon him called for water and performed ablution with it. He then lifted his hands and said. O Allah; grant pardon to Thy servant Abu Amir. The Prophet had raised his hands so high for supplication that I saw the whiteness of his armpits. He again said: O Allah; grant him distinction amongst the majority of Thine created beings or from amongst the people. I said: Allah Messenger; ask forgiveness for me too. Thereupon Allah Apostle ﷺ said: Allah; forgive the sins of Abdullah Bin Qais Abu Mousa Ashari and admit him to an elevated place on the Day of Resurrection. In his narration Ibn Numair one of the narrators said: I found a lost whip and took it. They said: Leave it. I said: I will not leave it to be eaten by predators. I will take it to make use of it. So I met up with Ubay Bin Kaab and asked him about that. So he narrated the Hadith; he said: That is fine. I found a sack containing one hundred Dinar during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ He said: So I brought it to him. He said to me: Make a public announcement about it for one year. So I announced it for a year but did not find anyone to claim it. Then I brought it to him. He said to me: Make a public announcement about it for another year. So I announced it for a year but did not find anyone to claim it. Then I brought it to him. He said: Make a public announcement about if for another year. And he said: Remember its amount; its container and its string. If someone comes seeking it and informs you of its amount and its string; then give it to him; otherwise use it. He handed him over to the heir of the victim; but the killer said: O Messenger of Allah; by Allah I did not means to kill him. The Messenger of Allah said to the next of kin: If he is telling the truth and you kill him; you will go to the Fire. So he let him go. He had been tied with a string and he went out dragging his string; so he became known as Dh AlNisah the one with the string. SunanAlNasai-017-001-12045		Alqamah Bin Wail narrated from his father that he was sitting with the Messenger of Allah when a man came leading another man by a string. He said: O Messenger of Allah; this man killed my brother. The Messenger of Allah said to him: Did you kill him? He said: O Messenger of Allah even if he did not confess I would have brought proof against him. He said: Yes; I killed him. He said: How did you kill him? He said: He and I were chopping firewood from a tree and he insulted me; so I got angry and struck him with the ax on the forehead. The Messenger of Allah said: Do you have any wealth with which you can pay the Diyah to save yourself? He said: O Messenger of Allah; I do not have anything but my ax and my clothes. The Messenger of Allah said to him: Do you think your people will pay to save you? He said: I am too insignificant to them for that. He threw the string to the man and said: Here; thank him. When he turned to go; the Messenger of Allah said: If he kills him; he will be like him. They caught up with the man; and said: Woe to you! The Messenger of Allah said: If he kills him; he will be like him. So he went back to the Messenger of Allah and said: O Messenger of Allah; I have been told that you said: if he kills him; he will be like him. But I only took him because you told me to. He said: Dont you want him to carry your sin and the sin of your companion the victim ? He said: Yes; if that is the case. He said: And that is how it is. SunanAlNasai-017-001-16847		It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: I stayed overnight with my maternal aunt Maimunah Bin AlHarith; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed overnight with her. I saw him get up to relieve himself and he went to the waterskin and undid its string; then he performed Ablution and that was moderate in the amount of water used. Then he went to his bed and slept. Then he got up again and went to the waterskin and undid its string; and performed Ablution again; like the first time. Then he stood and prayed; and when he prostrated he said: Allahummajal fi qalbi nuran wajal fi sami nuran wajal fi basri nuran; wajal min tahti nuran wajal min fawqi nuran; wa an yamii nuran wa an yasari nuran wajal amami nuran; wajal khalfi nuran wa azimli nura O Allah; place light in my heart; and place light in my hearing; and place light in my seeing; and place light beneath me; and place light above me; and light on my right; and light on my left; and place light behind me; and make the light greater for me. Then he slept until he started to snore; then Bilal came and woke him up for the prayer.
