Allah Messenger ﷺ did not flee; but his young unarmed companions passed by the archers of the tribe of Hawazin and Bani Nasr whose arrows hardly missed a target; and they threw arrows at them hardly missing a shot. So the Muslims retreated towards the Prophet ﷺ while he was riding his white mule which was being led by his cousin Abu Sufyan Bin AlHarith Bin Abdul Muttalib. The Prophet ﷺ dismounted and invoked Allah for victory; then he said; I am the Prophet; without a lie; I am the son of Abdul Muttalib; and then he arranged his companions in rows. The Chapter on Almaghazi And The Companions in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whoever AlRanged his companions at the time of defeat and got down from his riding animal and requested Allah for help in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-18079It has been narratedon the authority of Abu Ishaq who said: A man asked Bara Bin Azib : Did you run away on the Day of Hunain. O; Abu Umira? He said: No; by Allah; The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not turn his back; what actually happened was that some young men from among his companions; who were hasty and who were either without any arms or did not have abundant arms; advanced and met a party of archers who were so good shots that their arrows never missed the mark. This party of archers belonged to Banu Hawazin and Banu Nadir. They shot at the advancing young men and their arrows were not likely to miss their targets. So these young men turned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was riding on his white mule and Abu Sufyan Bin AlHarith Bin Abd AlMuttalib was leading him. At this he got down from his mule; invoked God help; and called out: I am the Prophet. This is no untruth. I am the son of Abd AlMuttalib. They said: No. Thereupon he the Holy Prophet said: But I am missing Julaibib. They his Companions searched him amongst those who had been killed and they found him by the side of seven dead bodies whom he had killed and he had been killed by the oppoments. Allah Apostle ﷺ came there and stood by his side and said: He killed seven persons. Then his opponents killed him. He is mine and I am his. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25916Ibn AlDailami said : I went to Ubay Bin Kaab and said him : I am confused about Divine decree; so tell me something by means of which Allah may remove the confusion from my mind. He replied : were Allah to punish everyone in the heavens and in the earth. He would do so without being unjust to them; and were he to show mercy to them his mercy would be much better than their actions merited. Were you to spend in support of Allahs cause an amount of gold equivalent to Uhud; Allah would not accept it from you till you believed in divine decree and knew that what has come to you could not miss you and that what has missed you could not come to you. Were you to die believing anything else you would enter Hell. He said : I then went to Abdullah Bin MAsud and he said something to the same effect. I next went to Zaid Bin Thabit who told me something from the Prophet ﷺ to the same effect. The Chapter on Assignments And Life in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Belief In Divine Decree in Sunan Abu Dawoud

MuwataMalik-017-001-34240Yahya related to me from Malik from Dawud Ibn AlHusayn from AlAraj from Abdulrahman Ibn Abd AlQari that Umar Ibn AlKhattab said; Whoever misses reading his hizb at night and reads it from when the sun has passed the meridian until the dhuhr prayer has not missed it; or it is as if he has caught it.The Chapter on Forgetfulness In Prayers Raising in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prayer in Congregation in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35532Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya Ibn Said that he heard Said Ibn AlMusayab being asked about making up days missed in Ramadan; and Said said; What I like best is for days missed in Ramadan to be made up consecutively; and not separately. Yahya said that he had heard Malik say; about some one who made up the days he had missed in Ramadan separately; that he did not have to repeat them. What he had done was enough for him. It was; however; preferable; if he did them consecutively. Malik said; Whoever eats or drinks thoughtlessly or forgetfully in Ramadan or during any other obligatory fast that he must do; has to fast another day in its place. The Chapter on Ramadan And Fasting And Deeds in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Divorce in Muwata Malik

MuwataMalik-017-001-35897Malik related to me from Nafi from Sulayman Ibn Yasar that Habbar Ibn AlAswad arrived on the day of sacrifice while Umar Ibn AlKhattab was sacrificing his animal and said; Amir Almuminin; we made a mistake in our reckoning and we thought that today was the day of Arafa. Umar said; Go to Makka; you and whoever else is with you; and do tawaf and sacrifice your animal if you have one with you. Then shave or cut your hair and return home. Then; in another year; do hajj and sacrifice an animal; and if you cannot find one; fast three days on hajj and seven when you return home. Malik said; Someone who intends to do hajj and umra together and then misses the hajj must do hajj again in another year; doing hajj with umra; and offer two sacrificial animals; one for doing the hajj with umra; and one for the hajj that he has missed. The Chapter on Mina In Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Business Transactions in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35913Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham Ibn Urwa that his father said; Someone who does not stand at Arafa on the night of Muzdalifa before the dawn breaks has missed the hajj; and some one who stands at Arafa on the night of Muzdalifa before the dawn breaks has caught the hajj. Malik said; about a slave freed during the wuquf at Arafa; His standing does not fulfil for him the hajj of Islam; except if he was not in ihram and then he went into ihram after he was freed and he stood at Arafa that same night before the dawn broke in which case that is enough for him. If; however; he did not go into ihram until after the dawn had broken; he is in the same position as someone who misses the hajj by not catching the standing at Arafa before the breaking of the dawn on the night of Muzdalifa; and he will have to do the hajj of Islam later. The Chapter on Alihram In Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Business Transactions in Muwata Malik
