S
Surat Abasa Ayah 1 +(The Prophet) frowned and turned away,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 10 +Of him wast thou unmindful.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 11 +By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction:  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 12 +Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 13 +(It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 14 +Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 15 +(Written) by the hands of scribes-  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 16 +Honourable and Pious and Just.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 17 +Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah;  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 18 +From what stuff hath He created him?  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 19 +From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions;  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 2 +Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting).  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 20 +Then doth He make His path smooth for him;  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 21 +Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave;  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 22 +Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again).  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 23 +By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 24 +Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it):  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 25 +For that We pour forth water in abundance,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 26 +And We split the earth in fragments,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 27 +And produce therein corn,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 28 +And Grapes and nutritious plants,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 29 +And Olives and Dates,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 3 +But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?-  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 30 +And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 31 +And fruits and fodder, -  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 32 +For use and convenience to you and your cattle.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 33 +At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise, -  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 34 +That Day shall a man flee from his own brother,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 35 +And from his mother and his father,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 36 +And from his wife and his children.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 37 +Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 38 +Some faces that Day will be beaming,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 39 +Laughing, rejoicing.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 4 +Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him?  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 40 +And other faces that Day will be dust-stained,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 41 +Blackness will cover them:  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 42 +Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity.  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 5 +As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 6 +To him dost thou attend;  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 7 +Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding).  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 8 +But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly,  +
Surat Abasa Ayah 9 +And with fear (in his heart),  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 1 +Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High,  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 10 +The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah):  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 11 +But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones,  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 12 +Who will enter the Great Fire,  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 13 +In which they will then neither die nor live.  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 14 +But those will prosper who purify themselves,  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 15 +And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer.  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 16 +Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world;  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 17 +But the Hereafter is better and more enduring.  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 18 +And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation), -  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 19 +The Books of Abraham and Moses.  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 2 +Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion;  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 3 +Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance;  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 4 +And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture,  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 5 +And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble.  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 6 +By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget,  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 7 +Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden.  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 8 +And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path).  +
Surat AlAala Ayah 9 +Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer).  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 1 +By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath),  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 10 +And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest-  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 11 +That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day?  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 2 +And strike sparks of fire,  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 3 +And push home the charge in the morning,  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 4 +And raise the dust in clouds the while,  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 5 +And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;-  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 6 +Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful;  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 7 +And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds);  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 8 +And violent is he in his love of wealth.  +
Surat AlAdiyat Ayah 9 +Does he not know, - when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 1 +Ha-Mim.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 10 +Say: "See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, Allah guides not a people unjust."  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 11 +The Unbelievers say of those who believe: "If (this Message) were a good thing, (such men) would not have gone to it first, before us!" And seeing that they guide not themselves thereby, they will say, "this is an (old,) falsehood!"  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 12 +And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 13 +Verily those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," and remain firm (on that Path), - on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 14 +Such shall be Companions of the Gardens, dwelling therein (for aye): a recompense for their (good) deeds.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 15 +We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 16 +Such are they from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and pass by their ill deeds: (They shall be) among the Companions of the Garden: a promise! of truth, which was made to them (in this life).  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 17 +But (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 18 +Such are they against whom is proved the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, that have passed away; for they will be (utterly) lost.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 19 +And to all are (assigned) degrees according to the deeds which they (have done), and in order that (Allah) may recompense their deeds, and no injustice be done to them.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 2 +The Revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 20 +And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (It will be said to them): "Ye received your good things in the life of the world, and ye took your pleasure out of them: but today shall ye be recompensed with a Penalty of humiliation: for that ye were arrogant on earth without just cause, and that ye (ever) transgressed."  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 21 +Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "Worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day."  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 22 +They said: "Hast thou come in order to turn us aside from our gods? Then bring upon us the (calamity) with which thou dost threaten us, if thou art telling the truth?"  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 23 +He said: "The Knowledge (of when it will come) is only with Allah: I proclaim to you the mission on which I have been sent: But I see that ye are a people in ignorance!"..  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 24 +Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty!  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 25 +"Everything will it destroy by the command of its Lord!" Then by the morning they - nothing was to be seen but (the ruins of) their houses! thus do We recompense those given to sin!  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 26 +And We had firmly established them in a (prosperity and) power which We have not given to you (ye Quraish!) and We had endowed them with (faculties of) hearing, seeing, heart and intellect: but of no profit to them were their (faculties of) hearing, sight, and heart and intellect, when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at!  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 27 +We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us).  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 28 +Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 29 +Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins).  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 3 +We created not the heavens and the earth and all between them but for just ends, and for a Term Appointed: But those who reject Faith turn away from that whereof they are warned.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 30 +They said, "O our people! We have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what came before it: it guides (men) to the Truth and to a Straight Path.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 31 +"O our people, hearken to the one who invites (you) to Allah, and believe in him: He will forgive you your faults, and deliver you from a Penalty Grievous.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 32 +"If any does not hearken to the one who invites (us) to Allah, he cannot frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth, and no protectors can he have besides Allah: such men (wander) in manifest error."  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 33 +See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and never wearied with their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yea, verily He has power over all things.  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 34 +And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!"  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 35 +Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the Day that they see the (Punishment) promised them, (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Thine but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress?  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 4 +Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 5 +And who is more astray than one who invokes besides Allah, such as will not answer him to the Day of Judgment, and who (in fact) are unconscious of their call (to them)?  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 6 +And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)!  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 7 +When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say, of the Truth when it comes to them: "This is evident sorcery!"  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 8 +Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Say: "Had I forged it, then can ye obtain no single (blessing) for me from Allah. He knows best of that whereof ye talk (so glibly)! Enough is He for a witness between me and you! And he is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."  +
Surat AlAhqaf Ayah 9 +Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear."  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 1 +O Prophet! Fear Allah, and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 10 +Behold! they came on you from above you and from below you, and behold, the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats, and ye imagined various (vain) thoughts about Allah!  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 11 +In that situation were the Believers tried: they were shaken as by a tremendous shaking.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 12 +And behold! The Hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease (even) say: "Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusion!"  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 13 +Behold! A party among them said: "Ye men of Yathrib! ye cannot stand (the attack)! therefore go back!" And a band of them ask for leave of the Prophet, saying, "Truly our houses are bare and exposed," though they were not exposed they intended nothing but to run away.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 14 +And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the (city), and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have brought it to pass, with none but a brief delay!  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 15 +And yet they had already covenanted with Allah not to turn their backs, and a covenant with Allah must (surely) be answered for.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 16 +Say: "Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (ye do escape), no more than a brief (respite) will ye be allowed to enjoy!"  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 17 +Say: "Who is it that can screen you from Allah if it be His wish to give you punishment or to give you Mercy?" Nor will they find for themselves, besides Allah, any protector or helper.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 18 +Verily Allah knows those among you who keep back (men) and those who say to their brethren, "Come along to us", but come not to the fight except for just a little while.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 19 +Covetous over you. Then when fear comes, thou wilt see them looking to thee, their eyes revolving, like (those of) one over whom hovers death: but when the fear is past, they will smite you with sharp tongues, covetous of goods. Such men have no faith, and so Allah has made their deeds of none effect: and that is easy for Allah.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 2 +But follow that which comes to thee by inspiration from thy Lord: for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 20 +They think that the Confederates have not withdrawn; and if the Confederates should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the Bedouins, and seeking news about you (from a safe distance); and if they were in your midst, they would fight but little.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 21 +Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 22 +When the Believers saw the Confederate forces, they said: "This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger told us what was true." And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 23 +Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least:  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 24 +That Allah may reward the men of Truth for their Truth, and punish the Hypocrites if that be His Will, or turn to them in Mercy: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 25 +And Allah turned back the Unbelievers for (all) their fury: no advantage did they gain; and enough is Allah for the believers in their fight. And Allah is full of Strength, able to enforce His Will.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 26 +And those of the People of the Book who aided them - Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 27 +And He made you heirs of their lands, their houses, and their goods, and of a land which ye had not frequented (before). And Allah has power over all things.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 28 +O Prophet! Say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of this World, and its glitter, - then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 29 +But if ye seek Allah and His Messenger, and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 3 +And put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 30 +O Consorts of the Prophet! If any of you were guilty of evident unseemly conduct, the Punishment would be doubled to her, and that is easy for Allah.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 31 +But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness, - to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 32 +O Consorts of the Prophet! Ye are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complacent of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 33 +And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 34 +And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes, of the Signs of Allah and His Wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted (with them).  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 35 +For Muslim men and women, - for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise, - for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 36 +It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 37 +Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 38 +There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of Allah amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of Allah is a decree determined.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 39 +(It is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of Allah, and fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And enough is Allah to call (men) to account.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 4 +Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his (one) body: nor has He made your wives whom ye divorce by Zihar your mothers: nor has He made your adopted sons your sons. Such is (only) your (manner of) speech by your mouths. But Allah tells (you) the Truth, and He shows the (right) Way.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 40 +Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 41 +O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often;  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 42 +And glorify Him morning and evening.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 43 +He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 44 +Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 45 +O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner, -  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 46 +And as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 47 +Then give the Glad Tidings to the Believers, that they shall have from Allah a very great Bounty.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 48 +And obey not (the behests) of the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and heed not their annoyances, but put thy Trust in Allah. For enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 49 +O ye who believe! When ye marry believing women, and then divorce them before ye have touched them, no period of 'Iddat have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present. And set them free in a handsome manner.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 5 +Call them by (the names of) their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah. But if ye know not their father's (names, call them) your Brothers in faith, or your maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 50 +O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 51 +Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 52 +It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and Allah doth watch over all things.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 53 +O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses, - until leave is given you, - for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 54 +Whether ye reveal anything or conceal it, verily Allah has full knowledge of all things.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 55 +There is no blame (on these ladies if they appear) before their fathers or their sons, their brothers, or their brother's sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the (slaves) whom their right hands possess. And, (ladies), fear Allah; for Allah is Witness to all things.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 56 +Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 57 +Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 58 +And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear (on themselves) a calumny and a glaring sin.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 59 +O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 6 +The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties, in the Decree of Allah. Than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah).  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 60 +Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time:  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 61 +They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy).  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 62 +(Such was) the practice (approved) of Allah among those who lived aforetime: No change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 63 +Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh!  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 64 +Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire, -  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 65 +To dwell therein for ever: no protector will they find, nor helper.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 66 +The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!"  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 67 +And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.  +

Surat AlAhzab Ayah 8 +That (Allah) may question the (custodians) of Truth concerning the Truth they (were charged with): And He has prepared for the Unbelievers a grievous Penalty.  +
Surat AlAhzab Ayah 9 +O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah, (bestowed) on you, when there came down on you hosts (to overwhelm you): But We sent against them a hurricane and forces that ye saw not: but Allah sees (clearly) all that ye do.  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 1 +Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 10 +A votary when he (turns) to pray?  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 11 +Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?-  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 12 +Or enjoins Righteousness?  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 13 +Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away?  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 14 +Knoweth he not that Allah doth see?  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 15 +Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock, -  +

Surat AlAlaq Ayah 3 +Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful, -  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 4 +He Who taught (the use of) the pen, -  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 5 +Taught man that which he knew not.  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 6 +Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds,  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 7 +In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient.  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 8 +Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all).  +
Surat AlAlaq Ayah 9 +Seest thou one who forbids-  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 1 +Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 10 +Mocked were (many) messengers before thee; but their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 100 +Yet they make the Jinns equals with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him!  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 101 +To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 102 +That is Allah, your Lord! there is no god but He, the Creator of all things: then worship ye Him: and He hath power to dispose of all affairs.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 103 +No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 104 +"Now have come to you, from your Lord, proofs (to open your eyes): if any will see, it will be for (the good of) his own soul; if any will be blind, it will be to his own (harm): I am not (here) to watch over your doings."  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 105 +Thus do we explain the signs by various (symbols): that they may say, "Thou hast taught (us) diligently," and that We may make the matter clear to those who know.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 106 +Follow what thou art taught by inspiration from thy Lord: there is no god but He: and turn aside from those who join gods with Allah.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 107 +If it had been Allah's plan, they would not have taken false gods: but We made thee not one to watch over their doings, nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 108 +Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 109 +They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if a (special) sign came to them, by it they would believe. Say: "Certainly (all) signs are in the power of Allah: but what will make you (Muslims) realise that (even) if (special) signs came, they will not believe."?  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 11 +Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth."  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 110 +We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: We shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 111 +Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth).  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 112 +Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy, - evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 113 +To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 114 +Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than Allah? - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, explained in detail." They know full well, to whom We have given the Book, that it hath been sent down from thy Lord in truth. Never be then of those who doubt.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 115 +The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 116 +Wert thou to follow the common run of those on earth, they will lead thee away from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture: they do nothing but lie.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 117 +Thy Lord knoweth best who strayeth from His way: He knoweth best who they are that receive His guidance.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 118 +So eat of (meats) on which Allah's name hath been pronounced, if ye have faith in His signs.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 119 +Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah's name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you - except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 12 +Say: "To whom belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 120 +Eschew all sin, open or secret: those who earn sin will get due recompense for their "earnings."  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 121 +Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's name hath not been pronounced: That would be impiety. But the evil ones ever inspire their friends to contend with you if ye were to obey them, ye would indeed be Pagans.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 122 +Can he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out? Thus to those without faith their own deeds seem pleasing.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 123 +Thus have We placed leaders in every town, its wicked men, to plot (and burrow) therein: but they only plot against their own souls, and they perceive it not.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 124 +When there comes to them a sign (from Allah), They say: "We shall not believe until we receive one (exactly) like those received by Allah's messengers." Allah knoweth best where (and how) to carry out His mission. Soon will the wicked be overtaken by humiliation before Allah, and a severe punishment, for all their plots.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 125 +Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide, - He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying, - He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 126 +This is the way of thy Lord, leading straight: We have detailed the signs for those who receive admonition.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 127 +For them will be a home of peace in the presence of their Lord: He will be their friend, because they practised (righteousness).  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 128 +One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns! Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term - which thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth." for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 129 +Thus do we make the wrong-doers turn to each other, because of what they earn.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 13 +To him belongeth all that dwelleth (or lurketh) in the night and the day. For he is the one who heareth and knoweth all things."  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 130 +"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 131 +(The messengers were sent) thus, for thy Lord would not destroy for their wrong-doing men's habitations whilst their occupants were unwarned.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 132 +To all are degrees (or ranks) according to their deeds: for thy Lord is not unmindful of anything that they do.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 133 +Thy Lord is self-sufficient, full of Mercy: if it were His will, He could destroy you, and in your place appoint whom He will as your successors, even as He raised you up from the posterity of other people.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 134 +All that hath been promised unto you will come to pass: nor can ye frustrate it (in the least bit).  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 135 +Say: "O my people! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): soon will ye know who it is whose end will be (best) in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper."  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 136 +Out of what Allah hath produced in abundance in tilth and in cattle, they assigned Him a share: they say, according to their fancies: "This is for Allah, and this" - for our "partners"! but the share of their" partners "reacheth not Allah, whilst the share of Allah reacheth their "partners"! evil (and unjust) is their assignment!  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 137 +Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 138 +And they say that such and such cattle and crops are taboo, and none should eat of them except those whom - so they say - We wish; further, there are cattle forbidden to yoke or burden, and cattle on which, (at slaughter), the name of Allah is not pronounced; - inventions against Allah's name: soon will He requite them for their inventions.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 139 +They say: "What is in the wombs of such and such cattle is specially reserved (for food) for our men, and forbidden to our women; but if it is still-born, then all have share therein. For their (false) attribution (of superstitions to Allah), He will soon punish them: for He is full of wisdom and knowledge.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 14 +Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah."  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 140 +Lost are those who slay their children, from folly, without knowledge, and forbid food which Allah hath provided for them, inventing (lies) against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and heeded no guidance.  +
Surat AlAnam Ayah 141 +It is He Who produceth gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters.  +
