SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6967Narrated Ibn Abbas: When the Verse:-If there are twenty steadfast amongst you Muslims ; they will overcome twohundred non-Muslims. was revealed; it became hard on the Muslims when it became compulsory that one Muslim ought not to flee in war before ten non-Muslims. So Allah lightened the order by revealing: But now Allah has lightened your task for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are of you one-hundred steadfast; they will overcome two-hundred non-Muslims. 8.66 So when Allah reduced the number of enemies which Muslims should withstand; their patience and perseverance against the enemy decreased as much as their task was lightened for them. The Chapter on Idolaters And Infidels And The Revelation in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-22044Ibn AlSadi Maliki reported: Umar Bin AlKhattab Allah be pleased with him appointed me as a collector of Sadaqa. When I had finished that the task assigned to me and I handed over that to him to Umar ; he commanded me to accept some remuneration for the work. I said: I performed this duty for Allah and my reward is with Allah. He said: Take whatever has been given to you; for I also performed this duty during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He assigned me the task of a collector and I said as you say; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: When you are given anything without your begging for it; then accept it ; eat it and give it in charity. The Chapter on Enjoining Obligations in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 37 in Sahih Muslim
